Spaced repetition
Reviewing each spot just before you would forget it, with longer gaps each time you get it right.

- What it means
- Spaced repetition schedules practice by memory, not by rote. Spots you know come back rarely; spots you miss come back soon.
- How it is calculated
- This app uses FSRS. Each spot template is a card. Your grade becomes a rating: Blunder and Wrong are Again, Inaccuracy is Hard, Correct is Good and Best is Easy. FSRS then picks the next due date.
- Worked example
- Answer a new spot with a Best grade and it is due again in about 8 days, then about 66 days after the next Best. A blunder brings it back within a minute.
- Why it matters
- It spends your practice time where your leaks are, rather than on spots you already play well.
