What a GTO trainer should do

A trainer deals you a spot, takes your answer and tells you how far it was from the solver's play, ideally in chips rather than a plain right or wrong. Three things set trainers apart: which spots are solved (preflop only, or flops, turns and rivers too), how the grade is shown, and how much you can do before paying.

A grade in chips matters because two wrong answers are seldom equally wrong. Folding a hand the chart raises a tenth of the time costs little; folding one it always raises costs much more, and a plain red mark hides the difference.

How four trainers compare

GTO Wizard is built on a library of solved spots for many formats. Its help pages say the free version allows one postflop spot a day, ten hands a day in practice mode and five analyzed hands a month. The paid plans are Starter, Premium and Elite.

PeakGTO comes from PokerCoaching.com. Its free account does not expire and covers the preflop library and trainer, five postflop hands a day and weekly drills. The paid plan adds the full postflop library, ICM and exploitative ranges and a leak finder.

PokerSnowie is an AI coach you play against. It gives advice during a hand and reviews hands you import. It offers a free trial and one subscription, paid monthly or yearly.

Solved Hand teaches before it tests: 48 interactive lessons, then preflop drills graded against solver charts that show the of every mistake, and full hands against bots whose mistakes come back as drills. Sign-up is invite only for now. The daily puzzle, the GTO preflop charts, the push/fold charts and the calculators are free with no account.

These details come from each vendor's own site, checked on 18 October 2026. Their pages list the current prices.

Which one to pick

If you know the basics and want postflop solutions, open a free GTO Wizard or PeakGTO account and see whether the daily limits are enough. If you are still building preflop habits, a trainer that explains each answer will take you further than a library you cannot read yet. Try the puzzle above, then the free charts, and join the waitlist for the lessons and drills.
