GTO (game theory optimal)
Game theory optimal: a strategy no opponent can exploit, found by a solver, which the app grades you against.

- What it means
- A GTO strategy is one half of a Nash equilibrium. Played against anyone, it cannot lose on average to their counter-strategy, whatever they do.
- How it is calculated
- A solver plays the spot against itself millions of times and keeps adjusting both sides until neither can gain by changing. The result is a set of frequencies per hand.
- Worked example
- A GTO button might open K5s 100% of the time and K4o 40% of the time at 100bb, mixing where two actions are worth the same.
- Why it matters
- It is the baseline the drills grade against. Exploit spots then show how far to move from it against a known opponent.
