Action bias
How often you raise, call and fold compared with GTO, over the same hands you were dealt.
Last updated
- What it means
- A tilt in your play toward one action. Accuracy grades one hand at a time; action bias shows the pattern across all of them, such as folding too much from the big blind.
- How it is calculated
- For each spot type, count the share of your answers that were raise, call and fold. For GTO, average the solver's frequency for each action over the same hands. A mixed hand that raises half the time adds half a raise. The difference is your bias. In exploit spots the baseline is the best response to that profile.
- Worked example
- From the big blind facing a shove you were dealt 50 hands. GTO calls those hands 34% of the time on average, and you called 22%. You call 12% less than GTO, and fold 12% more.
- Why it matters
- It is the leak a person can fix tomorrow. "Call a bit wider from the big blind" is an instruction; a lower accuracy number is not.
