EV lost

The EV loss of every decision in a hand or a session added up, in big blinds.

What it means
Every decision graded in EV has an EV loss: nothing for the best action, more the worse the choice. EV lost adds those up for one hand or a whole session, so you can set it beside what you actually won or lost.
How it is calculated
EV lost = the sum of each decision's EV loss. Solver spots count the gap to the best action at that node for your exact hand; decisions graded only by a chart's frequencies have no EV loss and add nothing.
Worked example
At the cash table you call a flop bet for no loss, bet the turn for 0.4bb less than checking and fold the river for 2.1bb less than calling. The hand's EV lost is 0 + 0.4 + 2.1 = 2.5bb, even though you won 6bb.
Why it matters
A session's result is mostly luck over a few dozen hands. EV lost only counts your choices, so a winning session with a big EV lost still had mistakes worth fixing.
