Session result
What you won or lost at the table: your stack now, less everything you bought in with, in big blinds.

- What it means
- The session result counts every chip you put on the table, the first buy-in and every top-up, against the stack you have now.
- How it is calculated
- Result = stack − total buy-in, divided by the big blind. It includes any chips you have in the pot of the hand being played, until that hand is decided.
- Worked example
- Bought in for 100bb and topped up 30bb; now holding 118bb. The result is 118 − 130 = −12bb.
- Why it matters
- Over a few dozen hands the result is mostly luck. Judge a session by its graded decisions; the result only means something over thousands of hands.
