Bot rating
A number that orders the named bots from weakest to strongest; a higher rating means fewer mistakes to use.

- What it means
- Each bot on the Play bots page plays one villain profile and carries the leaks of one cash table difficulty level. The rating puts them in order, from about 400 for a beginner who calls everything to 2300 for a bot that plays close to equilibrium. It is a ladder for this app, not a measured rating like a chess Elo.
- How it is calculated
- Start with the lowest-rated bot you have not beaten. Read how it plays and how to beat it, then sit at its table. You beat a bot by leaving ahead after at least 50 hands.
- Worked example
- Marty, rated 400, calls with almost anything, so you bet your good hands and never bluff. Viktor, rated 1850, folds his blinds a little too often and gives away little else.
- Why it matters
- A named opponent with one clear habit teaches you to spot that habit and punish it, which is how you win against real players.
