Cash table difficulty

How well the bots on the cash table play, from 0 (loose, passive callers) to 10 (close to equilibrium).

What it means
Each level draws its opponents from a player pool, from calling stations through live low stakes, online micro stakes and regulars to balanced players, and gives them two leaks: calling where they should fold, and checking or calling where they should bet or raise. The leaks shrink as the level rises and are gone at 10. You can also pick a different pool for any level.
How it is calculated
Low levels reward value betting: they call too much and rarely bluff, so bet your good hands and do not bluff. Middle levels fold too much, so steal and c-bet. Higher levels are regulars with small leaks. At 10 nobody has a leak to exploit.
Worked example
In a long simulation a tight-aggressive strategy won about 350bb per 100 hands at level 0, about 50 at level 5 and lost about 5 at level 10.
Why it matters
Practicing against opponents a little better than you teaches the most. Move up when your graded decisions are consistently good, not when you have had a lucky session.
