Last updated
- What it means
- A hand class such as AK covers several specific card pairs. Each specific pair is a combo.
- How it is calculated
- Pairs have 6 combos, suited hands 4 and offsuit hands 12. Across all 169 classes that is 1,326 combos.
- Worked example
- AK has 16 combos: 4 suited and 12 offsuit. KK has only 6, so a range of AK and KK is weighted 16 to 6 toward AK.
- Why it matters
- Counting combos is how ranges are weighted properly. A class with more combos shows up more often.
