EV share
A range-weighted decision EV divided by the starting pot, rather than showdown equity.

- What it means
- On a solved flop summary, EV share is the acting range's strategy-weighted expected value at a named decision, divided by the starting pot. The big blind is measured at the root; the button is measured after a check.
- How it is calculated
- For each combo, multiply each action's EV by its strategy frequency and add the products. Average those combo values using the player's reach weights, then divide by the starting pot.
- Worked example
- If a checked-to range has an average decision EV of 3.3 big blinds in a 5.5 big blind starting pot, its EV share is 60%. That is not a 60% chance to win at showdown.
- Why it matters
- The decision and its denominator matter. Figures measured at different decisions are not complementary shares, so the two displayed values need not add to 100%.
