Improvement area
A skill where your mastery sits clearly below your own overall level, so drilling it pays off most.

- What it means
- Improvement areas are your weakest skills measured against yourself, not against a fixed bar. Today shows the weakest one, and Progress lists them all.
- How it is calculated
- A skill qualifies once it has at least 10 decisions and its mastery score is more than 5% below your overall score. The 3 lowest are listed, weakest first.
- Worked example
- Your overall score is 78%. Facing a 3-bet sits at 61% over 40 decisions, 17 points below, so it is an improvement area. Late position opens at 76% are within the margin and are not.
- Why it matters
- Time spent on a skill you already play well moves your results very little. The biggest gains come from the skill furthest below the rest of your game.
