bb (big blinds)
Big blinds, the unit the app counts every stack, bet and pot in so spots at any stakes compare directly.

- What it means
- One bb is the size of the big blind. A stack of 20bb holds 20 big blinds, whatever the chip count or the stakes.
- How it is calculated
- Divide chips by the current big blind. At blinds of 50/100, a 2,500 chip stack is 25bb and a raise to 250 is a raise to 2.5bb.
- Worked example
- A 10,000 chip stack at 250/500 blinds is 20bb, the same depth as 2,000 chips at 50/100, so both play from the same 20bb chart.
- Why it matters
- Correct play depends on stack depth in big blinds, not on chips, so every chart, grade and EV figure in the app is in bb.
