Fold to 3-bet
How often a player who opened folds when someone re-raises them.

- What it means
- Fold to 3-bet is the share of a player's opens that they give up when re-raised, rather than calling or 4-betting.
- How it is calculated
- The exploits page deals it from 40% to 85% for the pool, or computes it for a preset profile by scaling the continuing share of a 55% baseline by the profile's call-a-3-bet adjustment.
- Worked example
- You 3-bet the button to 7.5bb over a 2.5bb cut-off open. You risk 7.5bb to win 4bb, so the 3-bet needs 7.5 ÷ 11.5 = 65% folds to break even when you give up whenever you are called.
- Why it matters
- A player who folds too often to 3-bets hands you a profit with any two cards. One who never folds should only be 3-bet for value.
