Hand history import
Pasting the text hand histories a poker site saves, so the app grades the decisions you made in real games.
Last updated
- What it means
- PokerStars and GGPoker save every hand you play as plain text: the seats and stacks, the blinds, your hole cards, each action and the board. The import reads that text in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
- How it is calculated
- Each hand is replayed through the same table engine as /tournament, so every one of your decisions is graded the way a table decision is: preflop against the charts, flops against a solver pack where one covers the spot, turns and rivers by equity against a range. Hands the importer cannot follow, such as Omaha, straddles or run-it-twice, are listed with the reason instead of being skipped.
- Worked example
- You paste 250 GGPoker hands. One river call with top pair facing a 3bb bet into 4bb grades as a Blunder, and once you save the results that spot becomes a Drill card due today.
- Why it matters
- Drills train the spots the app picks. Your own hands show the spots you meet and the mistakes you make.
