- What it means
- There are four levels: Beginner, Recreational, Regular, Pro. Each covers a set of skills, and its exam deals questions from them: drill spots, concept cards and multiple-choice questions.
- How it is calculated
- An exam has 15 questions spread over the level's skills. Each answer scores like a mastery decision, and the mean must reach 80%. Your level is the highest one passed with every level below it passed too.
- Worked example
- You answer 11 questions Best, 2 Correct and 2 Wrong: (11 × 1 + 2 × 0.85 + 2 × 0.15) ÷ 15 = 87%, above the 80% mark, so you pass.
- Why it matters
- Mastery shows which skills you drill well over time; an exam checks them all at once, cold, the way a real session does.
