Opponent grade
A grade that prices your play against the bot in the hand, from the ranges it really plays, instead of against GTO.

- What it means
- Each bot plays from charts set by its profile: a nit folds more, a calling station calls more. The opponent grade works out what each choice wins against those ranges. Before the flop it adds what you win when the bot folds to what your hand wins against the hands that call.
- How it is calculated
- Pick This opponent under Grade against in the table settings. The stamp, the hand's result and the drill queue then follow it, and the GTO grade still shows beside it when the two disagree. A hand that would see a flop is marked approximate, because the grade assumes you keep a fixed share of your equity after the flop. Your stats and the decision log always use the GTO grade.
- Worked example
- You open K5o on the button with two nits in the blinds. They fold so often that the steal is worth more against them than against GTO blinds, so the line can read Best play · vs Nit with GTO: Mistake beside it.
- Why it matters
- A GTO grade tells you how to play against anyone. Against a player who folds too much, the play that wins the most is different, and this grade shows by how much.
