Reading villains

Naming a hidden villain profile from a run of summarized hands, the way you would at a real table.

What it means
The read exercise deals a run of one-line hand summaries from a hidden preset profile, then asks you to name it. Nothing in the summaries is written per profile: each hand is played from that profile's ranges and multipliers.
How it is calculated
Watch how often the villain enters the pot, how often they raise rather than call, and whether they bet or call after the flop. Naming the exact profile scores Best, the right tight or loose and passive or aggressive style scores Correct, and one axis right is an Inaccuracy.
Worked example
Over 20 hands the villain plays 8, raises only 3 of them and calls two flop bets without betting once. A VPIP of 40% with a PFR of 15% and no betting is a calling station.
Why it matters
Charts cannot tell you who you are playing. Noticing a player's tendencies early lets every exploit in the trainer pay off.
